National Day of Lebanon
Firstly the National Day of Lebanon is celebrated annually on the 2nd November. It is also known as Independence Day or Evacuation Day. The holiday commemorates the country’s independence from France. This was declared on the 22nd November 1943. Finally this has been many years after French mandate rule.
The declaration of independence was the result of a joint effort by Lebanese nationalists, politicians, and religious leaders who came together to demand the end of French colonial rule. The event marked the beginning of a new era of sovereignty for the Lebanese people. Those who had long sought independence and self-determination.
