The Albania National Day is on the 28th November. Turkish (National Day of Turkey) rule of Albania ended with the Balkan War. The Republic of Albania country in south-eastern Europe, just North of Greece. In 1967, all religions were prohibited. The places of worship were allowed to reopen in 1990. Finally the majority of Albanians are of Islamic background.

Firstly the National Day of Albania is 28th November (“Dita e Pavarësisë”). Solly the Assembly declared Albania an independent, sovereign state, with Ismail Qemali as its first prime minister.

Firstly you will note that Albania declared its independence on the 28th November 1912. Secondly you will however note that this was followed a period of over 400 years of Ottoman rule. You will note that during this time, Albania had been part of the Ottoman Empire. The Albanian Declaration of Independence which was signed in the city of Vlore. This by a group of Albanian patriots, and it was later recognized by the major world powers. Which including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, and Austria-Hungary. Finally the day of November 28 is celebrated as Albania’s Independence Day.
