The National Day of Armenia is (Republic Day, independence from the Transcaucasian Democratic Federative Republic 1918). The National Day of Armenia is celebrated annually on the 21st September. This day is also known as Independence Day, and it marks the country’s declaration of independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.

Firstly you will know that after many decades of being part of the Soviet Union. In 1991, Armenia held a referendum on independence on the 21st September 1991. Eventually yhe results showed an overwhelming majority of Armenians in favor of independence. Finally the country declared independence the same day, and it has been celebrated as the National Day ever since.
Certainly on this day, Armenians all over the world celebrate their country’s independence with various events, including parades, concerts, and cultural festivals. It is a day of national pride and reflection on the country’s past struggles and achievements.
