National Day of Zambia
The National Day of Zambia is celebrated annually on the 24th October. This day is also known as Independence Day and celebrates Zambia’s independence from British colonial rule which ended on the 24th October 1964. The day is celebrated with various events and festivities throughout the country
National Day of Guinea-Bissau
The National Day of Guinea-Bissau is celebrated annually on the 24th September. This day celebrates the country’s independence from Portugal in 1973. (National Day of Portugal). Firstly the national day of South Africa is on the 27th of April and is called Freedom Day. Secondly Freedom Day in South Africa as a national day is a public holiday as is celebrated annually on the 27th April.
