National Day in Maldives
The Maldives celebrates its National Day annually on the 26th July. This day marks the country’s independence from British rule in 1965. The history of their independence comes with an interesting history from a British protectorate to an independent country.
National Day of Vietnam
The National Day of Vietnam is on the 2 September (National Day, declaration of independence from France and Japan 1945). This took place in Hanoi’s Ba Dinh Square, where Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam’s founding father, read the Declaration of Independence.
