The National Day of Bulgaria is on the 3 March. This is also known as Liberation Day, when they got autonomy within Ottoman Empire in 1878 (National Day of Turkey). The National Day of Brazil which is also called the Independence Day of Brazil. This is celebrated yearly on the 7th September. This is much like others to celebrate the declaration of independence of Brazil from Portugal in 1822. The leaders of this was Dom Pedro who was the son of the Portuguese King who had been ruling Brazil as a colony.

The National Day of Bolivia is on the 6 August also known as the Proclamation of Republic (Independent from Spain) in 1825. Bolivia, which was once a part of the South American Spanish Empire. Finally gained its independence after a long and difficult struggle against Spanish rule with other South American countries.
The National Day of Bhutan is 17 December (Ugyen Wangchuck elected hereditary king 1907). Bhutan’s National Day, also known as “Gyalpo Losar”. This marks the coronation of the first King of Bhutan, His Majesty Ugyen Wangchuck, in 1907.
The National Day of Benin is 1st August (Independence from France in 1960). This is also called the Benin Independence Day and is celebrated annually on the 1st August. This celebrates their independence from France which was on the 1st August 1960.
The National Day of Belize is 10 September, 21 September (Independence from the United Kingdom in 1981). This celebrates significant events in the country’s history. Firstly the Battle of St. George’s Caye as well as the independence of Belize.

The National Day of Belgium is 21st July (Leopold of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld takes the oath as first king of the Belgians in 1831). This day also known by the locals as the Belgian National Holiday which is celebrated annually on the 21st July. It marks the anniversary of the ascension to the throne of King Leopold I, the first King of the Belgians in 1831.
The National Day of Belarus is 3rd July (Independence Day, liberation of Minsk from German occupation by Soviet troops in 1944). This day is known as the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus. This marks the declaration of independence from the Soviet Union in 1990.
